    Default vbeam vs ipl?

    what are the opinions on vbeam vs ipl for flushing?

    also, is yag a type of ipl?

    If you are just beginning your research into lasers/IPL I would recommend that you read the Q&A's at the top of this laser page. Here is one of them:

    YAG and vbeam are different lasers. The v-beam is a PDL and is traditionally thought to be good for surface redness and flushing. The ND:Yag 1064 is designed to target deeper blood vessels (and blue veins) and is believed to play a role in normalising blood vessels so they will become less prone to overreacting. There is also the KTP 532 (not my preferred choice).

    If it were a choice between IPL using the Luminis One using a variety of filters and in the hands of a skilled practitioner as opposed to the vbeam then I would first try the IPL. However a lot of the success or failure is due to the experience and skill of the person carrying out the treatment.
