Default What new movies are you looking forward to?

Here in Stockholm its only a couple of weeks to the Film Festival, its mostly independent films and not really any blockbusters, but thats a good thing if you really like movies. Anyway, the movies Im looking forward to are The Wrestler ( mickey rourkes comeback! He will most likely get an oscar nomination), W. (yeah josh brolin as dubya!) and Australia which is the upcoming movie from the guy who made Mouling Rouge. So what movies are you people looking forward to seeing this year? Or what movies have you seen lately that were good, or bad? The latest movie I saw at the cinema was Wall:e, which was good but I expected it to be better.

Here is a link for a great site to watch upcoming movie trailers.

I'm looking forward to the remake of Friday the 13th. I loved the remake of Halloween by Rob Zombie last year.

    Hey Melissa

Yeah we are so lucky here in the UK. By the way did you know it snowed heavily here on Wednesday and London had it's first snow in October since 1934. And before you ask no I wasn't around then

Check this out as well http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...--October.html

Sorry I digress. Seen previews from Quantum of Solace but a review I read in the paper today wasn't very good and the verdict was "Quantum of Boredom"

What do you think of Daniel Craig as Bond? For me he just doesn't fit the Bond character as we know it and I felt that spoilt Casino Royale as it just didn't seem like a James Bond film to me.

I would love to see a Blade Runner II but can anybody tempt Ridley Scott to do it? Melissa - see what you can do

    Bye

    Peter

    Peter,
You are probably pining away for Sean Connery but I very much enjoyed Casino Royale. More than I expected to
I think Daniel Craig is quite good as Bond and very sexy

However, I think Timothy Dalton was the worst Bond ever.

As far as Blade Runner is concerned I doubt they could ever make the second one hold a candle to the first. Why mess with perfection? (The Director's cut was not so good though IMO)
But I will see what I can do. Ridley just may be up for it
His new movie just came out and the next one is due in 2009 I believe.

I dont like daniel craig as bond either, he looks like a wrestler or something. Eeryone know that Sean Connery is THE Bond.
I think the directors cut or the "final cut" of Blade Runner is good, cause there you get some definite proof of who Deckard really is...

Well he must be doing something right as Casino Royale was the highest grossing James Bond film so far
And Daniel Craig (according to Men's Vogue) is the highest paid actor in Britain.

But of course, it is totally a personal taste thing so viva la difference

I dont think he is the worst Bond ever, I agree that Timothy Dalton is the worst. I think Pierce Brosnan was pretty good, at least in Golden Eye, which has the best Bond girl!

I just hope that Quantum of Solace is better than the review Peter told us about as I was very much looking forward to it
