    Default Lyra yag

Does anyone have any experience with the LYRA YAG laser?

I gave up on IPL and vbeam but was interested in trying this..

Also wondering if this could be used to treat ear flushing and eyelids?

    thanks alot,

    John

Haven't used that particular laser but did want to tell you that most laser docs won't do eye lids. You have to go to an opthmologist who has special shields that go under lids. Check the search. I know there was one lady who had her lids done but don't think she posts any more.Seems she Got angry with some responses she got . Thought I would have to do that too but found that as the flushing on the rest of my face improved my lids stopped burning. Really feel for what you're going through- it really stinks.

I also noticed this. That when you get treated lets say on your cheeks it helps your ears. I am not sure of how this works but I can definitely agree that treating one part helps others.

I don't have any info regarding the Lyra but Banshee has had over 60 of them so you may want to PM her if she doesn't see this thread.

John how many VBeams did you do before you decided it wasn't working??

    Thanks!

Interesting. Dr. Crouch likes the Lyra 1064 for facial flushing but not the 1064 YAG attachment that comes with the Lumenis One. I wonder what the difference is...?

Lets see, I had 4 vbeams and 12 IPLS. I've just been sticking with RLT lately but will probably give the Lyra a go soon..

Maybe the eyelid veins will go away if the blep improves. So far, the lid scrubs, azasite and drops haven't helped too much. But I will continue the fight...

    Thanks for the responses..
