Hi all! I'm a newbie. Recently diagnosed with rosacea, but suffering for a few years. Finally, a breakdown in front of the mirror made me go to the dermatologist in January.

I've been using Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser by La Roche-Posay since I went to the dermatologist. It's for "hypersensitive" skin. It makes my skin so smooth and soft. It's $21.50 a tube, so thankfully, a little goes a long way! I gently rub it in and then rinse with lukewarm water.

It's not quite enough to remove my makeup though. I've been using the Oil of Olay cleansing cloths. Does anyone have a suggestion for a gentle makeup remover?

Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi and welcome to the RF tallgal
Here are some threads that may be helpful to finding a rosacea friendly cleanser to remove your makeup:

What may work for one may not for another so it does come down to trial and error.

    Best wishes,

I use no cleanser. I use no moisturiser. I'm not alone in this simple approach.

    Good luck.
Thanks for the tip, GJ. I will give that a try.

Thank you for the welcome and the info. I definitely have some homework to do! Treating rosacea is so much trial and error It's a job in itself!
