    Default Metronidazole

If you look at David Pascoe's May Newsletter there is another studying confirming metrogel's efficacy in treating seb derm. It confirms that it lacks azole effect (antifungal). There was a previous study in India or Pakistan confirming this. This new study however compared metrogel to ketoconazole cream and found no statistical significance in their efficacy.

Could it be the anti-inflammatory effect of metronidazole? Metronidazole does have anti-parasitical properties and kills mites, could it be that our old friend the dermodex mite plays some role in SD? I hope this takes them in a new direction respecting SD because the current treatments for it suck!!

Very well put and I believe you have summarized my opinion of available seb derm treatments succintly, albeit not quite strongly enough!
