    Default Pain.

What is some pain you have been feeling lately.

I just got a boil sliced open and drained. They had to stuff the wound (the opening about the size of a coin) and then bandage it up. I was completely drugged so it was not so bad.

Ok. Next day. No anastethtics (however you spell it)... They had to clean out the pus with a Q-tip. ****!!!! Nothing hurts more than something poking into an open wound. After that they had to do another packing. The nerve endings are in this part of the epidermis so it felt burning and stinging. It HURTS like hell!

And guess what the plan is for tommorow? And the next 5 days? And the best news.. Its in the pubic area so even walking is such a pain!!

    fun...

Anyways, I had to blow that off. Sorry :P

If the area that has the boil is a spot that is in contact with the openings of your underwear you'll want to consider changing your brand/style of underwear. Oftentimes the constant friction will bring boils back.

I have bilateral trigeminal neuralgia, it's a pretty good definition of pain.

    Happiness is a choice.

Or, to add to Twickle's advice about underwear, you could just go commando!
