    Default ipl or laser?

I have mild to moderate rosacea with some perm redness, inlfammation and a few p&ps, I have a constant tingling sensation on my left cheek, and my pores are becoming more prominent, which is the better treatment for me laser or ipl? my skin also looks quite thin. Any ideas?

I would say IPL, and a bit of laser too. Mainly IPL though.

It doesnt have to be one or the other. You could get benefit from both of them. Having said that my first choice would be to go for the IPL is the machine is a luminis One and they use different filters (and you dont have seb derm).

I had a few ipl sessions but I'm not sure she is doing it right from what I have been reading on here, I have asked her some questions but she is very vague, should I see someone else?

it may be that she doesnt have the right filter for you. Yes it would be worth looking around for someone else. Where you do live?

On the machine you have power settings, clearly the higher the power the stronger the light energy in the pulse.
However by using different filter strengths the effect of the power can be mitigated in such a way to decide at what depth the power of the light pulse will be targeted at, the other factor in setting the machine is the time length of the pulse, although this normally not changed.
People such as Dr Crouch are doing triple pass treatments, each treatment uses a different filter which also changes the way you feel the pulse a little, but for the doc it changes where he is targeting the pulse to reach deeper vessels.
