    Default new sunscreen

    Hello fellow rosaceans,

I think I have found the holy grail of sunscreens! I have tried countless brands and gave up until I cam across this one with a very minimal ingredient list. It's by Fallene...you may our heard of fallene cotz spf 58? Well it's called TIZO3 mineral sunblock spf 40. It has titanium and zinc and maybe 8 or 10 other ingredients. No alcohol, parabens. oil, fragrence or chemicals. It says it is excellent for sensitive skin. It is pretty sheer and has a nice tint. I think this could be a winner!

It is only available at doctor's offices or skin care centres. I called fallene and they searched places that carried it around my zip code. I'm in burlington , vt and I found it here so I'm sure there will be lots of places that carry it....hope this helps. I guess it's so new that there's not a lot of info on it yet. amazon was selling it through prskincare.com but they are on back order. I would suspect this product will become more readily available soon. I stumbled across it after hours of searching the net and I'm glad I found it.

    Cheers,

    Amanda

Looks like a good find! Do you know what the ingredients are?

I mailed Fallene too, and it is only available through doctors and salons. I live in London. So neither are of help to me. I urged them to rethink making it avialable to rosaceans from countries outside of the US. No reply as yet...

I did find the website where they show it:

Could you keep us Updated on your progress with is Amanda. I still reluctantly use Vanicream and look like a greasball....

Agreed am getting so fed up with corporate disinterest in people with skin probelms access to their products.

I agree! Especially since (total guess here so correct me if I'm wrong) I would guess more people have rosacea in countries outside of the US. It seems more prevalent in other countries.

Default ingredients for TIZO3 spf 40

    Hi,

the ingredients are Alumina, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimeticone, Dimeticone Crosspolymer, Dimeticone/Vinyl, Dimeticone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Lauryl PEG/PPG-18/18 Methicone, Meticone, PEG-10 Dimethicone (may contain iron oxide). Sorry I typed it all out...why are some ingredients repeated I wonder? Does anyone see anything problematic in the list?
