    Default Sub Derm hydrocortisone questions

Im in the process of finding out wether I have rosacea or sub derm...or both. Ive read that long term use of hydrocorisone is bad but how long is long term? Also, I was looking at the symptoms of SD and it says spots on the upper chest area and I have that but its off and on. I tried to post a pic but it wouldnt let me.

Hi and welcome to the forum. For some reason I seem to have missed your question.

The sort of recommended length of time is about five days and under in one go. Between go's I'm not so sure but the longer between the better ( I reckon not more than a few times a year).

A good alternative is to try to control diet (cut out sugary foods, wheat, dairy) or try something like pau d'arco supplements.

Seb derm can come and go so the spots could well be.
