Sounds like Pyratine-6 is to be relaunched in a few months. It might be hard to buy Pyratine-6 until the new sales and marketing team is in place.

I tried the lotion for 2 weeks and experienced P&P's and an increase in redness. I'm pretty sure it flares my seb derm which caused the negative effects. Its either the safflower oil or parabens that my skin doesn't like. I'll try again in a few weeks.

Keep us up to date on your progress altria123,

I tried the cream as well and had an increase in P&P's and redness. Not sure whether the lotion is worth trying...

    Unhappy

Will do. I wonder how soon I will react since it has the same ingredient. I hope once a day application will help and the lotion seems to be helpful for acne prone people.

WTF...I can't use any good product which helps.

I used the Lotion for about a month and had good results. Then for 3 nights, I used the Creme and it started causing breakouts. I am prone to breakouts, so went back to the Lotion. I use it twice a day and it is decreasing the redness and keeping my skin smooth. Of course, we are in the change of seasons here ( 85 degrees) in Dallas, so how it will perform during the summer months ( when it is in the 100's) will have to be seen. I do well in the summer and last summer didn't have to use anything special.

as usual, i reacted to pyratine lotion in a day...increase in redness on forehead.

i am lost...once again....can't tolerate topicals at all except for califlora gel and jojoba oil once in a while.

    any suggestions?

    Hi dc,
Sorry you didn't have a good reaction to the pyratine 6.
They might give you a refund if you return it.
My skin doesn't like most topicals either.

    Best wishes,
    Melissa
