Default LLLT and Ears- is it safe?

Hi everyone- I recently bought a handheld red and near infrared unit from elixa, and I've been using it for about a week now (my skin texture has improved, which I think is a very good sign . Anyways, the past few times I used it, I focused it on my ears as well- is this safe? I get bad ear flushing, and I thought the light would help. I feel as if I have a little bit of pressure and pain in my ears now (not a lot, but a little), and I was wondering if this is due to the light? I'm not sure if maybe I shouldn't just use it on only my face. Any thoughts would be helpful... Twickle Purple? Peter?
    Thanks guys!

It will not hurt your ears in the least. Many folk use RLT for their occular rosacea. The eye is a good deal more fragile than the ear.
