Well good luck with your treatment then.

Just be careful, closely spaced and stronger treatments are not necessarily better.

With regards the vascular question that is still very much up for debate. All you have to do it to check out the news section on this forum to get some idea as to the ideas currently being researched and discussed.

    Hello Erika

I think you should remember that the Institute, Clinic or whatever they call themselves is primarily an ETS clinic that has branched off into treating rosacea.

As I said before try and do your homework first before committing yourself as there are other options which a good dermatologist would be able to advise you on. Again ask if you can see Nase, if and when you go there and ask him how he treats his rosacea and has supposedly achieved remission. If the Clinic is that good I am sure he must be using their methods? If he is then ask for proof. When I called the Clinic they told me Nase never goes there but most of us suspected that anyway. Doesn’t it seem strange to you that there are no genuine current photographs of Nase around to back up his claims and also show him at the Clinic? I remember a year or so back he was asked to supply a photograph but declined saying he didn’t own a digital camera.

Is rosacea truly a vascular disease? Unfortunately Erika I think the jury is still out on the origins and despite all the claims and news on the condition, it still appears to be very much a mystery. One day I am sure we will find the cause and better treatments but until that happens there will always be people around trying to sell you something that isn’t necessarily the best thing for you.

    Good luck

    Peter

I wouldn't believe anything put on that website.

I don’t believe anything Nase is involved in – full stop – period.

Looks like Erika very surprisingly, despite the facts that we made her aware of, still thinks this ETS Clinic will solve her rosacea problems.

I see that Nielson is now quoted by Nase on his site as “Facial Flushing & Facial Burning Specialist - Rosacea Treatment Specialist”

I wasn’t aware of there being such a title of either of these let alone both together? Probably ones that Nase has just invented yet again to try and make it all sound impressive. At least we can see a recent picture of Nielson which is more than you will ever see of Nase.

    Erica -

This person has FAKED HAVING DEADLY CANCER, BRAIN TUMORS, AND SURGERY to draw attention to himself. FAKED. Serious medical conditions.

You say you are a nurse - would you honestly be able to receive medical advice and seek treatment from a person who behaves in this unethical manner? Without even questioning?

Would you encourage one of your patients or family members to seek treatment from a person with this questionable medical history and behavior?

You have flip-flopped from a knowledgeable nurse to a starry-eyed groupie. Please explain, and forgive me if I am wrong.

    Millie

I dont understand why you say that Erica is a groupie who has flipflopped? Is there some post that is missing here or?

    Hello Sweden

Read the thread again from the first of Erika's posts and you will understand.

Millie's reply is suggesting that Erika's stance with Nase and the RTIT, given the information available and her profession seems rather odd, so she is asking for an explanation.

    Thanks

    Peter

    Good evening,

I joined this forum in order to learn from others who suffer from rosacea and have found successful treatment. I had expressed comments about my impression of a discussion that I had with Dr. Nase, and do not feel this warranted the nasty replies. I have researched the different lasers used at the Institute, and to me the combo sounds promising. I have no special preference for this doctor, and will also be traveling to Arizona for a consult with another derm, mentioned frequently in this forum, who uses very different lasers. I am certainly no "starry eyed groupie" and will not waste my time justifying my opinions to the person who posted this; your attack on my professionalism and character were unwarranted.

There are so many different lasers and derms, I was hoping that this would be a good place to compare notes, but I guess that I was mistaken. Good luck to everyone.

    Erika
