    Default Recent IPL Treatment...?

I recently had a series of 3 IPL treatments done. My face was looking very clear and the redness deminished extremely, no flushing. This continued for about 3 months. However, then suddenly much of the redness came back and some flushing
My question is can I get it back to where it was... will this take stronger/ more higher intense treatments or...?

I see no reason why you cant go back to the previous state again if you have more treatment. I wouldn'tturn up the dose to start with, just see how it goes.

Most people need regular maintanece doses.

Ps I'm moving this thread to the laser/IPL section

Yeah, it was just kind of depressing for me cause I pretty much felt like it was gone... Then all the sudden it returned. So I feel like I'm back at square one. I just recently got another treatment and I don't see much difference... what is the deal??

    hi,

are you using anything else along with IPL?? Such as metrogel, oracea, or red lights?

I'm just wondering if carrying on with some sort of anti inflamitary routine could help??

    Hi,
it's an antibiotic topical but it is said to work for rosacea because it is also and anti inflamitory (sp?). I don't know much about the science but it definately helps me.

do you have p&p's at all or just red??

Metrogel/Noritate most likely won't help you, man. It's not really for flushing/redness. All of the topicals I know of are no good for flushing/redness. If you have papulopustular rosacea, topicals may help.

Toleraine Soothing Light Facial Fluid for moisturizer. I don't use a special cleanser. Clonidine daily; klonopin sometimes.
BEST and CURRENT TREATMENT I use: Low-Level Red Light Therapy LED array.
Please feel free to PM me with your low-level red light therapy (LLRLT) questions. I'm happy to help if I can.

Perform the IPLs again to get where you want to be and use RLT to help keep those improvements.
