You could try apple cider vinegar. The smell isn't great but it's great for your hair and helped clear up my acne! 8)

Maybe it is the shampoo that you are using. There are some shampoos that I can't use because they make my scalp itch and get bumps and sometimes dry scabby spots.

Try a different shampoo to see if it helps.

My scalp is still bad. Anyone else got any more tips?

I'm on 10mg's of accutane for the last full year, and still I'm getting scalp acne and breakouts on my head. my face is pretty good though, one or two once in a while.

I use head & shoulders every second day about, and also use a acne wash on my scalp, and plus some T gel some days. Still I get breakouts on my head.

I used to have the same problem and tried anti-dandruff shampoos which just made it worse plus I noticed so did any shampoo containing citric acid, which is a very common ingredient. Having rosacea can also make your scalp very sensitive so you need to experiment to see which shampoos you can tolerate and then the problem could settle down. Seems to me at the moment the shampoos you are using are just too strong for your oversensitive scalp.

The shampoo that works for me is Garnier Nutralia for normal hair - frequent use - hypo-allergenic - pH neutral. I use it daily and also Aloe vera as a hair gel afterwards. Worth a try.

What about a shampoo with salicylic acid to help exfoliate the scalp?

That can be an irritant as well for people with sensitive skin / scalp.
