Default What is the difference between...

Lumenius One and IPL II?? I have talked with several places today and they sound the same....am I wrong? I was hoping to set up a tx right after the holiday but I am still a bit confused about which direction....prices seem to be the same ($300-325) I don't want to buy a package and do say one tx and decide it's the wrong approach and then I wasted all that money and time! Any help on this?

Okay I just read on a google search that they apply a topical solution leave on for 45 mins then treat....this sounds like acne tx.. I will pass on the kertonic solution....I am more confused now!

Lumenis one is a type of machine for doing IPL - not sure what IPL II is - never heard of that - I think you would need to inquire as to the name of the actual machine they are using for IPL and perhaps the manufacturer.

    Hi LookOut

I am just about to wrap up the Q&A to Dr Darm. Perhaps you would like to ask your question in that thread:

The Yahoo Rosacea Support Group had a meet up last Friday evening and I was in the city at the time. Whoo hoo! Finally, Jen is in a place where something is happeneing!!! Hey, it was nice to meet some fellow rosies. The subject of I2PL came up. One of our fellow rosies told us that he had had 4 treatments with the I2PL machine. 15 minute sessions at a cost of AUD280, less $112 rebate from Medicare and $40 from private health insurance, so base cost was $128. Sadly, that is all I really know about it. Hey but I'm really excited that it's in Australia before you other guys n gals know about it! LOL

Ah, it's not often us Aussies are ahead of you guys with Rosacea stuff, so just got to gloat for at least a minute! LOL
