Default Just Finished Condensed Protocol Dr. Darm

Just finished 6/30- Everybody was very pleasant and very professional.
Was miserable when I went out there- Rosacea had spread from face to ears, chest, back. Feel much better but most am still on Meds- inderal etc. and must go back for more treatment. Intense flushing about 75% reduced.
Treatments were not as bad as Vbeam which made me bruise and started to fail because it couldn't reach as far as Yag. Was basically hot for the day after each but ok the next day.
The worst part is trip from east coast and 2 weeks away from home. Hopeful that additional treatments will provide additional help

    Default Dr. Darm

Ge has a condensed protocal- 6 treatments over 2 weeks- cost 2700 for the face- chest and back 100 each extra. He uses a triple pass protocal. First 1064 yag and then two passes with the IPL. I already failded vbeam and just IPl. I had severe flushing not many breakouts

    Default Thoughts after one week

Just got up and looked in the mirror. My skin is the best its been in years- however yesterday I stopped taking inderal and neuronton (sp). Although my skin was getting better I felt awful on these meds. I hope that as the healing process has progressed I may not need them. Background redness that remained after treatment is still fading. Sometimes I feel like I'm flushing (mostly chest) but when I look its not red.
Mentally, anxiety reduced somewhat- still worried that I might revert since I've improved and eventually reverted with other treatments.
I've seen so many doctors here on the east coast- the ones with the lasers you need just want to ablate wrinkles- they have their hand on the door as you're speaking to them. This was not the case at Dr. Darm's office- too bad I had to travel so far to be treated well.

    Default Darm Protocal

I'm not completely sure as to settings- Know that he does a triple pass. They speak of 20, 000 on face with the 1064 yag in "paint mode" This is the longest part of the treatment. They literally paint your face with the laser back and forth. Then he does 2 passes with the ipl. - hope this helps
