I've noticed that Dr. Crouch hasn't posted to the board in quite some time....has anyone seen/heard from him lately?

Would everyone like to set up the same thing as was done before and send Dr Crouch a series of questions to answer? I haven't asked Dr Crouch but would be willing to ask him, if there are specific questions.

He has answered many questions on a one-to-one basis, in this area already, so I'm not sure what other questions would be posed?

I do know that Dr Crouch took on an extra role recently and that may be the reason that he hasn't been able to spend time on the Rosacea Forum.

If Dr Crouch is not available, I guess we could ask another IPL specialist.

If Dr Crouch isn't available I'd like to hear from Dr Patterson. Although it wasn't that popular last time I mentioned it. I just thought it would be good to hear from a range of Dr's.

Sure James. A range of docs would be good. Personally, I don't believe it is in their best interest to post here. But being open to the idea of outside contribution via a set of questions might be the way to go. I mean, look what happened with the Dr Syed green tea cream interview thread! Since Dr Syed was e-mailed how to view the thread/questions in progress, I imagine that was what turned him off answering?! I don't really know what happened in the end but since there have been no answers, I assumed Dr Syed chose not to participate?

If we can keep to just straight forward questions with no bitching and moaning, I think we could get some great professional feedback.

Of course, this is what we currently have on the Rosacea Research and Development Institute (RRDi) private forum. The RRDi Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) answer questions in the private forum for corporate members. Many don't appear to be willing to provide their real name and address, even though the info is not used for any other purpose than being a member of the RRDi and is NOT public info! You are NOT able to see the membership list via the Forum, like we can here. Brady is working hard on increasing the MAC all the time. There's a pretty impressive list to date! If you're interested, you can join via the web site www.irosacea.org

Sorry, not really trying to do a plug for the RRDi but I would love some help there!!! I sooo want to see more "novel" (I love this word) research done on Rosacea. Oh, "novel" meaning researching things that WE Rosaceans want to see researched, not necessarily what a pharma company may research for $$$'s!

Yes, thank you for the link. I've signed on (have to wait for approvals yet), and sent my donation.

    Hi James and TP

The RRDi is still fine tuning things but the more volunteer Rosaceans we have on board, the more the work load is spread amongst us. What's the saying? "Many hands make light work"

Thanks for joining TP and also for donating. Fantastic! Whilst the RRDi are not going out asking Rosaceans to donate, all contributions certainly help and are much appreciated. What we do ask for is volunteering time and skills to get more research done on Rosacea - the research WE want to see being done.

Oh, not sure if you've read about an info brochure being created on Rosacea via the RRDi. I just wanted to say that this project is being done solely on volunteer power, so the funds are left for research on Rosacea. Hopefully when the brochure is ready, we may be able to source a volunteer to professionally print them for us, for further distribution. To start off, it will be available on-line on the RRDi web site for anyone to print out and distribute as they see fit. Hopefully I can get the wording sorted soon and sent on to our volunteer designer. I need a surge of creative juices!
