    You can

You can drive down to the states and see a dermatologist or their assistant and get a prescription and fill it there.

Appointment would probably cost you $75-$125 and the prescription itself can...

I have to disagree with you, the extent of the Rosacea does not appear to be related to the perception of "disability" perpetrated by people here. In fact, my experience has been that the people...

    with respect

Stop letting your obsession over your appearance run your life and you don't have to settle. By all means you should try and treat Rosacea but giving in to this concept that your appearance is too...

I actually tracked down the article. The author was not suggesting a cause and effect relationship between the meditation and the cancer remission. He chalked this up to a case of spontaneous...

    I agree

I agree that meditation can certainly be a useful tool for eliminating stress. I also agree that stress is bad for your health. If that was the gist of the post I wouldn't have posted as I did.

    Indeed

    Interesting first post...

Could you please forward me the scientific evidence/studies that suggest that abstaining from exercise and/or sexual relations is good for Rosacea?

    Also do you have...

Nothing to do with each other

With respect my post to Stranger was a joke, I posted a picture of a guy that clearly wasn't him holding a sign that said "Bad Advice". It was a lighter attempt to point out what I did in my follow...

    whatever

Some of these people have had improvements, not all, and the poster was right those that don't always seem to blame themselves. This is the danger of calling something a cure, when it doesn't work...

What would you say if you laid out thousands of dollars to go to the Ukraine to pay some unknown doctor for treatment and rubbed chemicals (at least one of which is unknown to you) all over your face...

    Simple yet hard

Keeping things in perspective. Its really that simple and yet also that hard.

I've preached about this many times on here but let us not forget that by and large our problems with Rosacea pale...

    Difference

The sure fire test imo is if the condition clears up in a few days/weeks its not likely Rosacea. One of the known pathogenesis of Rosacea is the damage to the underlying capillaries. They take at...

    Not to mention

Not to mention the efficacy of such "treatment" appears to be quite low. I have met/corresponded with more people who either did not improve or got worse (re: their Rosacea) attempting to regulate...

I would apologize for referring to point 1 as bad advice if this was taken seriously (for the record the picture I posted was clearly not you): drinking mass quantities of alcohol and smoking...

Just wanted to cover one point.

The "defects" caused by Rosacea would be considered minor defects medically for the overwhelming majority of Rosaceans.

    Marathons

I was running marathons prior to my Rosacea flaring really badly a few years ago.

I actually blame the marathon running for it, it puts a lot of stress on your whole body.
