The contraceptive pill didn't really effect it that much, neither did my cycle. Only the levothyroxine made it really bad. Taking iodine and selenium seemed to help, as did ditching the levothyroxine.

The salt does have added iodine, but you have to make sure you buy the right one in the stores. I seem unable to get enough, so just take a supplement instead.
