In many case, the second week is the worst, but maybe if if you would have continued the treatment it would have improved or Maybe it's because you stop doxy and your skin was no longer used.
I think 13 days is not enough to say a diagnostic ( above all Soolantra is a long term treatment : 3 months).

I started about 13 days ago, and 13 days ago I stopped my doxy cold turkey. So I've noticed any cysts that have come went away quickly, but I keep getting new ones. My face looks real beat up. I started using metrogel in the morning. I want to go back on the doxy because thats what it helped me with... Breakouts... But my doctor told me to stop since I was on it for so long and my liver blood test seemed a little high...

Day 17
Hi there, i update my Soolantra treatment.
Positive side :
- Skin texture : My skin texture has improved. It is now very soft and smooth ( for years I had forgotten what it was a "normal" texture skin !)
- Redness : My general redness has improved too but i'm still red. I think the inflammation redness has gone, now i only have the dilated vessel redness ( maybe add to the treatment a laser treatment ??)
- Flushs : no changes
- Seb derm : Since i have used Soolantra, my seb derm has gone. I don't know if it's Soolantra or a placebo effect but it's real ! I have just some flakes on my beard but I am used to...
Negative side :
- Not really negative sides because Soolantra has generally improved my rosacea and i'm very happy (I begin to have my lifeback , go to restaurant, walk in the street,... it's good for my mind !)
- Soolantra makes a little bit dry skin, but really nothing.
I will definitly continue Soolantra for 3 months and see what happens !

A worsening before it is better might be a good sign bro. Perhaps demodex die off. Keep updating

Thanks for the update. I'm curious to see how this works for you. I also have subtype 1 and wonder if Soolantra would have any benefits for us.

Day 10
Hi guys,
Today is the 10th day of my Soolantra treatment :
Day 10: - My skin texture has improved ( smooth skin )
- Slightly less redness ( but muy face is still red and i have still flushs ). I can see (like my first day's applications) some white spots in my redness.
- SD has improved too, the SD areas are less wide and less reactive ( maybe no link with Soolantra, idtk)
I'll continue to update my situation.
Hope it will help someone. And please do not hesitate to share if your are any experience with Soolantra on subtype 1.
Thank you !

Day 7
Hi,
Like promise, an update of my treatment with Soolantra (subtype 1, only redness + flushs, and SD)
Day 7 : Today is a bad day, my face is very red, with red dry patches all over my face. No improvements, only worsening... It is discouraging. But I'll continue the treatment.
I'll post here an update of my situation the next week.
See you

A couple of things I noticed starting Soolantra was that I get more whiteheads and I flush which I hadn't done in years. The flushing seems to have stopped for the most part (1 month use) but the whiteheads still appear about 3 or so a week. It's not really that big of a deal for me as I prefer a few whiteheads to large open pores with flakes and soolantra works fairly well helping that issue.

I started Soolantra 3 days ago
Hi guys,
I explain my situation :
I'm 23 years old, I have rosacea for my 16 years old, it begins with redness on the nostril, and spread along the years, first on the nose, and cheeks and now on forehead. I accepted this redness to my daily life.
But 8 months ago, i was sunburn on the face (at the beach) and my situation worse a lot, flush and redness increased. Now i can't face the mirror, i'm afraid of me (lol) and i lose all my self esteem. Classic story of a rosacean... ^^
I would like to specify I don't have P&P issue, only redness and seb derm.
My GP prescribed me first a cream with hydrocortisone, salicilic acid and sulfur = it works greats for my skin texture but not for my redness. But when I stopped this treatment all my issues returns ! **** !
So he prescribed me Soolantra and i'm at my third day now, I will explain the course of these 3 days(treatment of 3 months)
Day 1 : My skin reacted a lot when I apply Soolantra, my face was as **** red
Day 2 : Same + flushs increased (for example i never had flush when I go to bed, after Soolantra apply I do ! I started to be afraid but I showed bravery and continue the treatment
Day 3 : I can see white spots on my redness and my skin texture is improved
To conclude :
-> Day 1 & 2 was horrible
-> Day 3, some improvement are visible, and it feels good to my mind.
-> I will continue the treatment and see what happens, i'll try to keep you update once a week.
My daily cleansing :
The morning
1) Wash my face with mineral water and a cleanser "Cicaplast Lavant B5 - Laroche Posay"
2) I dry my skin slowly
3) I apply moisturizer "Tolérance Extreme Rich - Avène"
4) Take train to go to my job office
The Evenning
1) Wash my face with mineral water and a cleanser "Cicpalst Lavant B5 - Laroche Posay"
2) Apply Soolantra on my entire face with thin layer
3) Go to bed and dream about me without rosacea
Hope it will helps you and do not hesitate to give a try to Soolantra, I think it is not dangerous, ivermectine is a famous molecule !
PS : I notice i'm a lot red when i'm front a computer screen, and less when I'm out, walking in the street, not you? ( No luck for me i'm a computer scientist)
