Yes you can and should in fact but space them at least 4 hours apart so they don't interfere with each other.

    Best wishes,

      • You're welcome

There are so many on the market and I don't know which is best but there are certain factors you should look for:

and here is a helpful thread discussing different probiotics.

          • For those who want to try RIFAXIMIN, it can be purchased here relatively cheaply and they ship
            world wide:

            http://goldpharma.com/index.php?show...rch_srt=zaxine

To get the right dosage you need 6 of that item.

            • PCA are those 200mg pills?? So you take 5pills per day to get 1000mg's for 10days?

Geez I am really tempted to try this!

              • You take two (2) pills three (3) times daily for a total of six (6) per day for ten (10) days.

Ideally you take them every 8 hours but otehrwise just morning, midday and evening.

you can get that whole treatment course for around 150$ or so ... nice-price!!

It should be noted that shipping medications into your country from a no-prescription website and medication for which you do not have a prescription is an offence in most countries (it certainly is in the U.S. and Canada). Desparate times call for deparate measures? You may get away with it, but you should be aware of this, as I understand it most of the time customs will just seize the medication and not charge you, but that does not mean they won't or can't.

More importantly, because these website pharmacies are not regulated (most of them are clearly breaking the law by shipping medications into countries where it is not available and shipping to people who do not have a prescription) you get what you get. That might be the medication you ordered in its best form, that might be a placebo (sugar pill) or something altogether worse. In short caveat emptor. I have heard mixed results from people ordering from no-prescription web site pharmacies.

I may add that I have no experience nor have I heard anything ood or bad about goldpharma.com.

                      • I forgot to mention that the site I link to where the product can be purchased includes a prescription from an authorised MD (Medical doctor).

First, so they say, it is entirely possible they are claiming to do so in hopes of providing some legal loophole in case an agency like the FDA is ever able to get the cooperation of whatever country this place is located in. I highly doubt these online pharmacies have ever declined to authorize a request for a prescription from a paying customer.

More importantly neither the FDA nor Health Canada (for those of us here in North America) recognize these prescriptions, in the U.K. online pharmacies are only allowed to provide prescriptions for a few select medications.

Anyway here is what the FDA has to say about these sites, if you do a quick check you will see that they have indeed charged people in the past will illegal possession: http://www.fda.gov/buyonline/

                            • Thanks for that info Jason.

I think it is very important to take all this into consideration before buying drugs from these online pharmacies. Even more concerning than the legalities of it all is the fact that you may not be getting what you think you are. That is very troublesome and for that reason alone I would not purchase from one of these places.

                              Best wishes,
                              Melissa

Marki I swear by the Danon Actimels. I have experimented with probiotics in supplement form and food sources. After ongoing problems with oral thrush many years ago my Doctor told me that the yogurt drinks can help. Back then I started and took them for about two weeks and then it went by the wayside. Since I have stopped all supplements I started these drinks again. I have tried several different ones usually due to what's on offer at the supermarket, and I keep coming back to this one. It's not really from a Rosacea point of view the Actimel's genuinely help stop my gut transit grounding to a halt and keep me going to the toilet regularly, (although that activity does go hand in hand with what's happening with my face most of the time).

I swithched to Muller Vitality, (on offer, I'm a cheapskate), for about two weeks and started to feel the 'slowdown', I'm back on the Actimels again and moving everyday despite my onging stomach issues.
