  • people should check out this website. Seems where sales reps/workers of Galderma go to talk about the company . Pretty interesting to see an internal view of the company, and its not all positive lol.

edit: in fact its pretty hilarious, never seen anyone who hates their bosses so much

    • I think the reports here are probably exaggerated. No matter how much they say they hate Mirvaso, not one user wants to sell me theirs. Which means it must be somewhat valuable.

well be assured theres a horde of people constantly messaging anyone who posts about using Mirvaso asking them to sell it to them, myself included. Even if they did want to sell it im sure the demand would be far greater than supply at the moment.

        • Seems to work OK for me. I use it occasionally (3X/week) and use just a little each time. No rebounds and looks good.

                          • a kind of tachyphylaxis

An article in Skin and Allergy News in discussing Mirvaso states, "Stopping the medication did cause a kind of tachyphylaxis seen with other alpha-adrenergics used to treat nasal or conjunctival congestion, where stopping the drug increased erythema or edema." The article quotes Dr. Kanade Shinkai as stating:

"I think the jury is still out" until more data become available on long-term use of brimonidine for erythema in rosacea. "However, I think this is a really exciting new development" because it adds to the few tools available for treatment, she said."

                            • Hello, I am new to this forum and very new to rosacea I believe. I only recently became inflicted with it. I have a Rx for Mirvaso and tried it the day I got it on a test patch of skin. My results were about the same as everyone else's on here including the rebound flush after the medication wore off. Thankfully, the test patch (one of the already lighter patches) did return to it's usual baseline condition. I'm about 50/50 consistently red and flushing. I flush just in nervous situations, working out, etc. My question (as someone who understands less than the average rosacean) is just why this drug wouldn't be successful if applied every 12 hours every day. I get the idea from some of the members on this thread that it would not be a good idea and that there would be harmful effects in the long run. Can anyone explain what would or might happen if someone were to use the medication in that way?
