Hello Everyone!

I'm Nancy and a somewhat new rosacea sufferer. Since January I've been dealing with this. It seemed to be sudden like a switch was turned on. I woke up one day and had red bumps. Were they bug bites? Zits? The first few things I tried, none of those helped. Couldn't use my normal skin care products, things I'd been using for years were now burning. Always had sensitive skin but this was ridiculous. Finally got to see a dermatologist a few months ago and I'm not sure yet if any of those prescription things have helped. I'm tired of the stinging sensation, the acne advice from people and finally just looking awful all the time. I don't look like myself.

Hi NancySoFair.. You still reading here? I know how you feel. Metrogel doesn't do a lot for me, maybe a little. The other prescription cream/gel did nothing. I tried a nonprescription lotion, and it seemed to bring out more bumps.

I'm a pretty healthy eater and now I look as though I eat just grease and sugar. Could be worse though.
