hey katie
Im starting to wonder about ur derm,
Many derms actually recommend starting on a higher dose then slowly wearing of it,
Long term use of drugs is never good,I wouldn't say that i take one now and go into a stressful situation straight away and not flush at all,
When i was on it i would take a pill one hour to two hours before i new i had to go in to a stressful situation and it would help Either by prolonging the flush or simmering down a flush,
You'll notice a difference in the first three days like i said clonidine is in your blood stream and working its effects after 45mins of taking a pill,
It screwed my system up to the point where they wouldn't work if i took a pill in the morning it would where of by lunch even taking two or three in the morn after the first month wouldn't of prevented the rebound flushes at that point the more i took the worst the flushes were when i did flush,I have no idea why i experienced rebound flushing,
In so saying that i couldn't even tolerate low dose tane,U seem to be able to quite well,So my be u wont get any side affects(rebound flushing etc)It does seem to be rare when its fully in your blood stream,
U wouldn't want to take to high of a dose it does/can make u extremely tired,It worked fine with me now and then,
Honestly my flushing is better with out taking all this crap,I flush naturally not drug induced flushing like i experienced of tane and clonidine,That was horrible,
Lasers/ipl have reduced redness but when i flush i still go pretty red,Exercising i go super red but at a calm state i look better,Redness is hard to treat,Ive been a flusher all my life,Always had little rozy cheeks growing up it just didn't look that bad,
Every one reacts differently to drugs
My two cents
Kind regrads matt

They both worked,Its better to go big with v beam then tidy it up with ipl,The brown marks after a month was hyperpigmentation,I had to undergo ipl to remove those marks,
The pdl treatment cleared a lot of redness but sadly to say(its very rear)I Suffered alot of fat loss from it,I dont care what ppl say or think doing a treatment that big can burn fat,I always thought it was a myth but it can be reality,I under took ipl not knowing if id loose any more fat,But doing seven treatments this year my skin has plumbed up a bit and looks pretty good,Hence the ipl beats pdl,
Its not well documented that fat loss can occur but in 5 years it will be especially with so many dick heads using old dodgy machines,
But yeas than can work
Medical procedure there are allways risks,

IPL felt to me as if I was being splashed by hot fat, but it only lasted for a second. You might get swelling but you shouldnt have blistering. If that occurs it indicates the settings were too high.
