Not sure if you're still around, but your post grabbed my attention. What do you mean when you say the Melanotan "eliminated" your redness? Did you actually see a reduction in erythema before you started to tan?
It was my impression that Melanotan, in both incarnations, provided only a way of concealing rosacea--the melanin in the skin masking the redness. I could see how it would make skin less dry and sensitive, due to the increased oil production, but actively decreasing redness is a whole 'nother story.
Then again, I've heard that Melanotan II is an anti-inflammatory, so maybe that had something to do with it?
