No Rosacea after a night out...

So I went out last night, and went really crazy, drunk so much I don't remember most of the night. I also had a bit of ket (bad choice I know) and then went to sleep.

When I woke up, my face felt nice, a lot less dry, it was quite oily and didnt feel warm like it usually does. I hadn't had any clonidine for a while which usually means a flare up is almost definately on its way, but so far haven't had even a slight flush today.

I got on the bus home since I slept at a mates house, and went upstairs. It was freezing outside but really really warm upstairs, and going from cold to hot like that usually makes me instantly flushed, but I only felt a bit of a tingle, nothing else, I felt like I used to feel PRE rosacea.

Kinda made me think, maybe waiting a couple years WILL help, most people who go on accutane need a second course because the oil and acne come back. Is it possible that my skin just isn't producing enough oil, causing the flushing? If that's the case then I might have some hope left.

I can also wake up with almost no signs of rosacea after a wild night out. But in 1-2 days afterwards it will make a steady comeback, so I have to care for it...

same here..
after a mad night of binge-drinking.. for some reason my skin looks white and clear with minimal flushing the next day. but after 1-2 days. it comes back, and sometimes slightly worse..
strange.. but i wonder why?
this actually happens to few people (who dont have rosacea) i know of.
one girl i know has sensitive skin, also says her skins better the day after binge-drinking, but after few days gets slightly worser.

Yep, used to happen to me after a night out.. During infact.

Used to feel quite tense before a night out, especially if there was going to be people around I dodn't know. After a few drinks i'd notice my skin looking better. Much less red when I had when I used to have redder skin and any redness and imflamation around any P&P calmed right down! Did come back the day after along with a few extra P&P.

My theory is that after a few drinks I feel nice and calm and if the nights going good then rosacea is the last thing on my mind so it's not flaring due to any stress.

Could be umpteen other reasons including coincidence!
